Dhaka-Chittagong-Rangamati-Bandarban-Dhaka (6 Nights 7 Days)


Day 01: Arrive Dhaka
Our representative will welcome guests at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka and transfer to Hotel. If time permits, we will go for a half day city tour: National Parliament Complex (outside view), 7 Dome Mosque, Dhakeswari Temple, Curzon Hall of Dhaka University and Language Monument. Overnight stay Dhaka.


Day 02: Dhaka –Chittagong (250 km, 8 hrs drive approx.) via Comilla

After early breakfast drive to Comilla (7am will be preferred). Visit the spectacular Archaeological sites at Moinamoti., Comilla We will visit Salban Vihara –the relics of old Buddhist Civilization. It’s an extensive center of Buddhist Culture of 7th -12th Century. The attractions include, Buddhist Vihara (monastery) with imposing central shrine, Kotia Mura, Itakhola Mura etc. The rich archaeological museum is also worth visiting.

After lunch drive to Chittagong. Check in hotel upon arrival and overnight.


Day 03: Chittagong –Rangamati (80 km, 3 hrs drive approx)

At 7am start for Rangamati. Transfer to hotel, check in and get fresh. Then go for a cruise on Kaptai Lake –the largest man-made lake of the Asia. The boat journey through the crystal clear water will be an amazing experience and you will enjoy the nature around. Visit tribal village beside the lake. You can enjoy the lunch at tribal restaurant.

Evening; visit traditional tribal handloom factory. You may collect some tribal made products from this factory as souvenirs for your family & friends.  Stay overnight at hotel.


Day 04: Rangamati –Bandarban (90 km, 3 hrs drive approx)

Morning visit the famous Rajban Vihara Buddhist Complex and Chakma King Palace. Then drive to luminous hill district of Bandarban through the forested hills and tribal villages. On the way, visit Zadi Golden Pagoda –the most ornamented temple in Bangladesh.  Upon arrival Bandarban, check into hotel and overnight.


Day 05: Bandarban

Bandarban is the attractive place to visit and to get a touch of different tribal communities with their own cultural entity. There is not less that 12 to 13 indigenous tribal groups generated from the Sino-Tibetan origin that migrated mainly from Arakan and found safe shelter to this hill plateau just 250-300 years back. Among them prominent groups are Chakma, Marma, Tripura, Mru, Tangchaya, Khumi, Lushai, Pankhu, Bawm, Kuki, etc. Each tribal group has their own distinctive cultural entity. After breakfast go for a panoramic drive to a remote village of Mru. Visit the tribal King’s Palace & way side tribal market (if it is on date). Afternoon; walk through the Tripura tribal village or avail a local country boat to cruise through the famous Shangu hilly river rolling down through high forested hills. Enjoy the panoramic landscape with high hills on the river bank. Stay overnight at hotel.


Day 06: Bandarban –Dhaka (320 km, 10 hrs drive approx)

Drive to Dhaka at the morning. Transfer to hotel and overnight.


Day 07: Departure

Free till transfer to airport for next destination.

NOTE: 1. There are several domestic flights for Dhaka Chittagong route operated by different airlines. You can take flight rather than drive, so it will save your time and you can visit more places.

2. Kaptai Lake cruise duration is 5-6 hrs by local boat. Each boat has 10-15 sitting capacity.

3. You have to walk through hilly road 2-4 km when visit the tribal villages in Bandarban.

4. Tribal market sits only on Monday & Wednesday from 2pm to 6pm.
